After purchasing a “Spyder,” two outdoor enthusiasts set out to find a way to tow a trailer with their new recreational vehicle. They soon realized that no product on the market met the towing capacity requirements specified in motorcycle manufacturers' warranties.
To address the issue, the two creators developed a plan for a micro-trailer that met regulatory size and weight requirements. Since the concept was innovative, many expressed interest in the product. The two entrepreneurs then brought their project to life: the iGoutte micro-trailer was born.
Thanks to the product’s quality and features, this revolutionary invention is now gaining fans throughout Quebec and the United States.
Known for being ultra-lightweight, the iGoutte Micro-Trailer can easily be towed by a “Spyder” motorcycle, an all-terrain vehicle, a small car, or an electric car.
In addition to its modern design, this fully equipped micro-trailer will win you over with its many features and the unique comfort it offers.
There’s now an iGoutte for motorcycles! Lighter and lower to the ground, the Bo-M is even more stable than its larger counterparts. Plus, thanks to our new mounting system featuring a ball joint, your motorcycle can lean as usual while your iGoutte stays securely attached. Finally, the Bo-M features Torflex independent suspension for smooth and secure handling.
The iGoutte was designed for three-wheeled motorcycles. We adhere to the manufacturer’s warranty requirements, which recommend not exceeding a load of 400 lbs. The micro-trailer therefore meets Spyder specifications and is currently the only one on the market that complies with the recommended weight limit.
The iGoutte naturally takes on a green theme when it comes to pairing it with an electric car. This duo is perfect for those who care about the environment. Together, they are a perfect example of the future of eco-friendly vacations. For more details on the range of an electric car, you can check out the road tests on a 2016 Nissan Leaf, 24 kWh, conducted by JN Auto in our article “Road Tests with a Nissan Leaf” .
As we took the first steps toward bringing the iGoutte to market, we quickly realized there was very strong demand among owners of small cars. Owners of small vehicles are particularly drawn to its light weight, as it allows them to use their everyday car for adventures without having to buy a larger, gas-guzzling vehicle.
In 2015, Rémi Lefebvre and his partner embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by becoming co-owners of Micro-Roulotte iGoutte.
A former heavy equipment operator, day laborer, and miner, he had no prior experience in the business world. However, he was ready to take on this new challenge: marketing the iGoutte. It was therefore with motivation and determination that he and his team took on various tasks within the company: the design, development, and production of the iGoutte in the workshop.
Eager to offer the best product possible, he continues to refine it with vigor and passion.
Drawing on many years of experience as a businesswoman, Sylvie Lespérance founded Micro-Roulotte iGoutte in 2015 with her business partner. Although she is a jack-of-all-trades, she primarily handles administrative tasks and ensures the smooth operation of the workshop.
Friendly and approachable, she is highly appreciated by her customers. When you visit her, she will enthusiastically and passionately tell you all about the iGoutte.
The son of Sylvie Lespérance, he studied construction and holds a journeyman’s license. A new member of the team since September 2017, he is hardworking and helpful, and assists Rémi Lefebvre with the construction of the micro-trailer.
Benoit Rochefort joined Micro-Roulotte iGoutte in February 2017 as a marketing representative.
A professor, entrepreneur, consultant, and researcher in strategic marketing and communication, he is an excellent advisor. Thanks to his proven experience and wide-ranging skills, Mr. Rochefort is a valuable asset to the team.
Creative and innovative, he stands out for his dynamism.
